Need a hand?

Common questions
Is Breeze safe? Could it delete something I need?
Breeze is built around scan → review → confirm. It shows you exactly what it found, with sizes, and everything it removes goes to the Trash — nothing is permanently deleted until you empty it yourself. Anything it can't be certain about (like a leftover it can't prove belongs to a removed app) starts unticked for you to review. System and Apple apps and protected paths are never touched.
What's free, and what needs Breeze Pro?
The essentials are free forever: Smart Scan and the Health Score, the interactive Storage map, Applications with the real uninstaller, System junk cleanup, Reclaim space, and Trash bins. Breeze Pro is a single one-time purchase of $24.99 that unlocks the deeper modules — Leftovers, Duplicates, Similar photos, Large & old files, Developer junk, Privacy, Auto-clean, App Hygiene and more.
Why does Breeze need Full Disk Access?
That depends which build you're running. The direct download from this site can request Full Disk Access under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access, so it can scan and clean protected locations across your whole Mac — relaunch Breeze after granting it. The Mac App Store version runs inside Apple's App Sandbox instead, which doesn't allow Full Disk Access; it asks you to grant access to your Home folder once, through a normal folder picker, and remembers that choice. Either way it's a local permission that sends nothing anywhere.
I bought Breeze Pro on another Mac — how do I restore it?
Open Breeze → Breeze Pro and click "Restore Purchases." If you bought through the Mac App Store, this restores your purchase from the same Apple ID with no extra charge.
The Purgeable space section shows nothing — is that a bug?
That section reclaims Time Machine local snapshots. If Time Machine isn't keeping local snapshots on that Mac, there's genuinely nothing there to remove, so it will show an empty state — that's correct, not a bug. When snapshots do exist, Breeze lists them with the space they're using.
Why is one feature missing or limited in the App Store version?
The Mac App Store version runs inside Apple's App Sandbox, which blocks a specific set of system-level operations: Disk Health wear figures, viewing what's in the Trash (Empty Trash itself still works), deleting Time Machine snapshots (finding them still works), Login Items in Startup (global launch agents still list), and the Maintenance tasks that need admin rights. Each of those is clearly marked in the app — a dimmed control with an explanation, never a button that silently does nothing. Everything else — Smart Scan, Storage, the real uninstaller, System junk, Developer caches, Duplicates, Privacy, Leftovers, and more — works the same as the direct download. The App Store edition is focused purely on cleanup, so it also leaves out a few live system readouts the direct download has. Want the full feature set including the sandbox-only items? Grab the direct download from this site instead.
